Aarburg is a small town in the Zofingen district in the canton of Aargau. The municipality has approx. 6900 inhabitants and is located on the northern edge of the Wiggertal on the banks of the Aare. Aarburg is only a few minutes' drive from the Rothrist and Oftringen motorway exits. There is also a train station from where regional trains run to Olten, Langenthal and Lucerne.
