The area

Kloten is a picturesque town in the canton of Zurich, about 10 kilometers north of the city in the district of Bülach. The town is located in the Glatttal and very close to Zurich Airport. Kloten is home to the headquarters of Swiss World Cargo as well as offices of Swiss International Airlines. There are a number of international hotels and restaurants catering to travelers, as well as cafes and restaurants serving locals. Kloten also has several large grocery stores, making it easy to self-cater.
