Developed with the new COOP store, the Jardins de la Scierie is a complex of two buildings, comprising 41 apartments located on the site of the former sawmill at the exit of the village of Courroux, towards Vicques.
The two buildings that make up the complex are four stories high and overlook a common underground parking lot as well as the cellars provided for each apartment.
The housing has been designed to meet the needs of the greatest number, singles, families, people with disabilities. Common areas on each floor allow for the parking of strollers or scooters, while bicycles can be stored in the basement.
The construction of the buildings is of high standing, to justify this term, here are some examples:
- light home automation is integrated into each apartment
- the underground parking spaces provide power to an electric charging station
- the heat pump heating system is partially powered by photovoltaic panels
- comfortable elevators from Schindler
- aluminum windows and a fully openable bay window leading to the loggia without corner posts (see illustration)
- solid wood flooring throughout the apartment
- bathroom with Italian shower, built-in faucets, and basic equipment in matte black.
The apartments were initially intended for sale, and the standard is therefore above what is usually done in rentals.
The complete construction of the complex was completed in August 2023.
