The complete renovation of the building was completed in 2017 and was designed with particular attention to enhancing the area, reusing and maintaining the characteristics of our traditional settlements. The construction concept took into account the use of environmentally friendly materials such as wood, natural stone and iron. These materials reflect the characteristics of local traditional constructions, where possible, existing parts such as wooden beams and stone walls were also maintained. The house, respectfully integrated into the landscape and historical context, was intended to be solid and was built with durable materials while respecting the environment. The aim was to represent the traditional spirit, but elegantly incorporating elements of modernity that allowed the creation of spaces that guarantee an excellent quality of life, relaxation and tranquility. The living spaces are well distributed, the open-plan living area is very spacious and welcoming. Thanks to the use of wood on the visible attic ceiling, which gives a much appreciated spaciousness that fits well into the overall volume of the house. The modern, well-furnished kitchen is an element that enhances the living area, along with the private terrace filtered by large wooden sliding doors. These elements give a touch of originality to the entire living space. The bedrooms are located on both levels and have an adjacent bathroom with shower. Heat is produced by central oil heating with individual meters and distribution is via low-temperature floor coils. The communal laundry room and the private cellar are on the ground floor, accessible from inside the courtyard. Several public parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity of the building, and the construction of the new municipal car park is also planned for next year. Additional costs: CHF 150.00
