The neighborhood

Mühlebach is part of Zurich's eighth district and lies east of Seefeld. The neighborhood is small but offers a variety of attractions for locals and visitors. Cafés, bars, and restaurants line Seefeldstrasse, offering both Swiss and international cuisine. Mühlebach is home to the venerable Heimatschutzzentrum in Villa Patumbah, a beautiful villa that has been transformed into an architecture museum. The Zurich Opera House is just a short walk from the northern end of the district, and the beautiful Chinagarten Zurich by the lakeshore is easily accessible from the southern end. Mühlebach also has several smaller city parks of its own. The neighborhood is served by several bus and tram lines and has its own train station, Kreuzplatz.
