Wettingen is located between Lägern and Limmat and is often referred to as a garden city. As the largest municipality in the canton of Aargau, Wettingen has over 21,500 inhabitants and a tax rate of 95%.
On foot or by bike, the routes for daily shopping are short. Wettingen has two shopping centers, the Centerpassage and the Tägipark. There are also various shops along the main road where daily needs can be met. Further offers can be found in nearby Baden.
