Since the 19th century, Bad Ragaz has been known as a spa resort with its Tamina thermal baths and spa hotels.

The next largest city, Chur, can be reached in 20 minutes via the A13. Zurich and St. Gallen are each 50 minutes away. Bad Ragaz train station has connections every 60 minutes to Zurich, St. Gallen, Chur and Sargans.

The town centre of Bad Ragaz with Coop, Post, Bank, restaurants and shops is a 10-minute walk from the Ochsenbrunnen development, with a public transport stop in the immediate vicinity. Bad Ragaz has a partly luxurious atmosphere with the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, its casino and thermal baths. As a starting point for various leisure activities, the municipality has two golf courses, the Giessenpark with an outdoor swimming pool and campsite, and directly on the doorstep the Pizolbahnen, which invite you to hike and ski.
