The neighborhood

Opfikon is a beautiful town in the canton of Zurich, about 10 kilometers outside the city in the district of Bülach. The town is located about halfway between downtown Zurich and Zurich Airport and is also home to several international hotels. There is also Runway 34, a casual restaurant outfitted with historic airplanes. Opfikon also has its own Aldi supermarket for those who prefer to cook for themselves. Opfikon is served by two train stations, Glattbrugg and Opfikon, and there is also a local bus connection.
