We are a cooperative with 25 parties in the heart of Winterthur, 10 minutes on foot from the main train station. Our settlement is exceptionally child-friendly: no through road, many families, playground, very green surroundings, and 5 minutes from the forest. The apartments (pictures similar) are rather small, but well-maintained, practical, and charming with parquet flooring. Since the energy renovation, our members can enjoy the green surroundings from the spacious balcony.

Occupancy guidelines at least 2 persons

As we are self-managed and our board works on a voluntary basis, we look forward to individuals who can help maintain and support our cooperative. We are therefore looking for people with a sense of community as well as interest and willingness to work on the board of the cooperative. Technical understanding, interest in property management or finance is particularly welcome. The board implements interesting projects to maintain the quality of living. Further training, e.g., with the umbrella organization of housing cooperatives, is possible.

The housing cooperative Sonnenbergstrasse was created for federal staff. In the case of equally qualified applications, employees (or retirees) from the federal government, canton, city, the post office, SBB, Swisscom, etc. will be given preference.
