We wish for open, communicative residents who appreciate the tolerant coexistence and the mix of generations in a cooperative and who like to actively contribute to a community.

Before moving in, a rental deposit of 3 months' rent must be paid into a tenant deposit account. This will be converted into cooperative capital at a later date. For this reason, we cannot accept tenant deposit insurance or similar.
Keeping dogs is not permitted in our settlements. Cats are allowed, but the installation of a cat net requires prior approval.

The Lehenmatt Quarter
Our property is located in the Lehenmatt quarter, directly on the Birs, which invites you to swim or take a walk to Birsköpfli and the Rhine in summer. Bus lines 36 and 37 provide good connections towards St. Jakob and Breite. For shopping, the well-stocked Spar neighborhood store at the corner is available, as well as a newly opened Migros branch on Lehenmattstrasse.
The Property
The modern building (built in 2018) is part of our cooperative settlement on Birs-, Lehenmatt- and Redingstrasse, where various common areas are available for communal use (seating areas, playgrounds, rentable guest studio, community meeting place, etc.). At the back of the property is a large courtyard. Currently, a replacement building in timber construction is being built on Lehenmattstrasse. The entire courtyard will remain undeveloped and will become a large, green island with seating areas and a playground.
The Apartment
The spacious, bright 2.5-room attic apartment is located on the 4th floor and offers a great view from the two associated roof terraces (north side 27.5m / south and east side continuously 60 m2). It features the following amenities:
