For rent from private is a 5-room apartment in an old building (built in 1900 - "Belle Epoque") in Kilchberg. The apartment is located on the raised ground floor and is the lowest of three, the landlord lives in the same house.
The entire house was "gently" renovated in 2010 and partial renovations are continually being carried out, so the condition and standard are good - however, it is overall and clearly an old building with the corresponding charm, but also the corresponding disadvantages. We other residents feel very comfortable here and love its contemporary beauty, so the house is in no way intended for imminent demolition or major renovation. The apartment has been freshly painted and maintained and is available for occupancy from 1.8.25 or possibly earlier by arrangement.
Unfortunately, there is currently no permanent parking space available at the house and parking directly in front of it on the street is practically impossible (there is, however, a visitor parking space). Therefore, tenants without a car are preferred, or a solution for a car must possibly still be sought. The bus stop of the local bus (every 30 minutes) is 3 minutes away, the Kilchberg train station (every 15 minutes) is 12 minutes away (about the same as the stops of bus lines 161 and 165). The apartment offers 2 large and one smaller bedroom, a separate living room and a dining room, as well as a covered and weather-protected balcony (with minimal lake view). Additionally, a bathroom with walk-in shower (with partition, without bathtub), a separate toilet (with "Closomat" shower toilet) and also a separate kitchen. A cellar compartment belongs to the rental property. Central heating (wood pellets) with hot water is of course available, fiber optic connection is available, UPC-Sunrise or Swisscom - "copper" as an alternative as well. The shared laundry room with dryer and a drying room (the heating room) are available for shared use in the basement. The garden with seating area can also be used by arrangement, but does not belong to the rental property.
In such an old building, people come closer than usual, which is why we try to rent this apartment to someone who fits with us other residents. For this reason, we are looking for a couple or a shared apartment without small children. For this reason, the apartment has already been advertised earlier but has not yet been rented.
