In the lively Matthäus quarter in Kleinbasel, just a few minutes' walk from the Langen Erlen recreational area, we are renting a 2.5-room apartment from July 1st (or by arrangement).
The apartment to be rented, loft-like in style, is arranged around a central access core. In this way, all uses within the residential unit have direct facade access (daylight), while the rooms can be flexibly zoned and separated from the core using large sliding doors. In the form of an inner circuit, functionality is thus combined with a perceived spaciousness in a small space. Large lift-and-slide windows transform the dining and living area into a light-flooded loggia during the summer months.
Tenant cellars for the floor apartments are located in the basement. The green inner courtyard is available for joint use by the tenants.
All apartments are equipped with a long kitchen counter with a robust stainless steel worktop, including a washer-dryer and an integrated dishwasher. The appliances are from V-Zug.
The raw concrete stairwell, lined with white-painted industrial brickwork, is in direct dialogue with careful MDF joinery (kitchen and doors) and high-quality wood-metal windows. Together with exposed concrete ceilings and a troweled hard concrete floor, the direct materialization and surface texture corresponds to the character of the (former) residential and commercial district Matthäus, which is still preserved today.
1 x 2.5-room apartment (2nd floor) at CHF 1894.- excl. utilities
