The optimal transport connections, excellent shopping opportunities, and proximity to Bern as well as various local recreation areas make Ittigen something special.
Ittigen is well connected by public transport: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen with the surrounding villages quickly and frequently. The travel time to Bern (main station) is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The S-Bahn line Bern-Worb serves the stops "Ittigen" and "Papiermühle" every 15 minutes - during peak times in the morning and evening even every 7.5 minutes in both directions.
Bus lines connect the stations "Ittigen" (line 43) and "Papiermühle" (line 40/41) with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). From the "Papiermühle" train station, there are also two bus connections (line 40/41) to Bern, with direct connection to Bernmobil. All S-Bahn lines pass through the Worblaufen station.
