The neighborhood

Kloten is a picturesque town in the canton of Zurich, located about 10 kilometers north of the city in the district of Bülach. The town is situated in the Glatt Valley and very close to Zurich Airport. Swiss World Cargo is headquartered in Kloten, and Swiss International Airlines has its own business premises there. There are several international hotels and restaurants for travelers as well as cafes and restaurants for locals. Kloten has several large grocery stores, making it easy for self-caterers. Other local highlights include the "Seilpark Zürich", an amusement park, and the Swiss Arena with its 7,800 seats, where the home games of the ice hockey team EHC Kloten take place. Trains to Kloten run from the stations at Zurich Airport and Kloten Balsberg.
