In Biasca, in a sunny position, we have designed two beautiful single-family houses with 6.5 rooms, with a wooden load-bearing structure and energy-efficient design.
The land on which we have designed the two houses is a total of 699 m2: 349.5 m2 for each house. Access to the respective homes is conveniently located. The parking spaces also offer room for potential visitors. Each house also has its own terrace and green area for outdoor moments in a pleasant setting.
Each house is spread over two well-structured living floors. The bright and open ground floor is characterized by functionality and refinement, aided by the choice of materials. By reducing the passage areas and forgoing separating walls, we have managed to create spaces suitable for meeting a family's needs. The large windows on the South-West facade create a positive balance between inside and outside, between intimacy and openness.
On the ground floor, we have also planned to create a technical room. The under-stair area offers adequate, discreet, and convenient space for this purpose and does not limit or constrain the availability of living space.
The upper floor is structured around a central corridor. From the corridor, access is provided to the 4 bedrooms and the bathroom. The well-placed windows ensure brightness and openness even on the upper floor. The washing machine and dryer are planned in the technical room. However, they could also be placed in the ground floor bathroom, which would need to be expanded by reducing the space of the adjacent room.
We have aimed to design simple yet functional and refined houses, where the quality of processes and materials is prioritized, with a view to ensuring hospitality, solidity, sustainability, and well-being at all levels. The project can be modified (see options and variants).
The project includes an internal air-water heat pump for heating and cooling, via coils, and a photovoltaic system of 10.8 kWp (for the two units).
The costs for the house amount to CHF 658,000 'finished', including the cost of the land. Bank and notary fees are not included.
