New building idea in a very beautiful location with a view of the green, rare south slope! We have had a model house in Wolfhalden since 2015. Please register for a separate appointment where we can discuss and calculate your house in peace. The price is from calculated with some own contribution. We plan to build two detached houses here. The house is spacious and very nicely situated. Currently the house is planned without a basement. Unique south-facing plot facing south. A subtropical climate prevails here. Mango, kiwi, kaki, eucalyptus and more grow there... Very healthy and comfortable living in a solid wood house. Unique and also modern possible. Living on one floor possible. House is not fixed. It can also be a different one. We develop most of the houses together with our clients. The room layout is one possibility. Wall construction: single-shell, massive log cabin construction made of Polar pine, settlement-free wall construction we have been guaranteeing for over 40 years!Heating e.g.: heat pump, underfloor heating or as desiredSolid wood meets clear glass. Building with sense. It will also not darken inside thanks to the applied UV protection. LUXURIOUS DREAM WOOD HOUSE MADE OF NORDIC PINE The expansion of the wooden house itself was later comparatively a breeze and the easiest and fastest part of the whole planning and construction history: The precisely prefabricated wall elements were delivered punctually to the construction site and assembled within days by the manufacturer's carpenters. "We relied entirely on Fullwood and are thrilled with how smoothly everything went," says Cilgia Plate. Before the house was built, the couple first had the green area landscaped and let the floating floor slab rest for half a year. After a short expansion time, "Chalet Cilgia" could then be occupied and everything was immediately beautiful and homely, even outside. "For the interior design, we exclusively engaged regional specialist companies – they are then quickly available if something should happen," argues Joachim Plate. ONLY THE BEST OF EVERYTHING Only the latest house technology should go into the wooden house, such as the number code-controlled locking system with chip key for the front door; right up to modern security technology, which even alerts the security company early on if the pellet storage needs refilling. "Everything has worked wonderfully, and we feel completely comfortable and very safe in our house. All the technology is easy to operate from inside and all the rooms are easy to maintain. My main field of work is the large garden – when gardening I can wonderfully relax," enthuses the lady of the house. And because the maintenance of a large garden-pond would have been very labour-intensive, the Plates simply opted for two small, decorative pool basins, such as those found in high-class hotels, between the terrace and the garden. The huge terrace running around the entire house, and the driveway were uniformly paved with limestone from the area, as they want to maintain the regional style. SUBTLE WOOD HOUSE ARCHITECTURE WITHOUT ANY FRILLS Modern, bright and airy is what the Plate couple wanted their dream house to be, so they opted for a very spacious, open living-dining-kitchen area with floor-to-ceiling windows all around, letting in plenty of daylight. They combined the light pine wood walls with white plastered stud walls and sand-coloured floor tiles, crowned by a high, open roof truss with a slight slope. Nothing presses or constricts here. And despite the abundance of light and spaciousness, the sensual wood, which creates a healthy room climate, evokes a pleasant sense of security. From the outside, the angular bungalow is smooth, bright and simple, and the roof covered with dark brown clay tiles gives it the necessary down-to-earth weight. Wooden window frames in the same warm, calm brown structure the modern look and offer a harmonious contrast to the light pine wood. To keep the wood permanently light, it was treated with UV protection inside and additionally painted with weather protection outside. The exterior paint used even contains a few white pigments to brighten the pine tone minimally, and is a purely optical protection that prevents the wood from greying. It would not have been necessary for the lifespan of the house. The angle of the bungalow opens wide to the south-west and forms the frame for a sheltered terrace bathed in sunshine. Inside, the long living-dining-kitchen area and the study benefit from the abundance of light. In the adjoining bedroom, located in the eastern corner of the house and glazed floor-to-ceiling on two sides, one is awakened by the morning sun. A cleverly positioned garage provides a welcome visual screen for the private area consisting of bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. It is connected to the house by a glazed passage, so that Joachim and Cilgia Plate can get from the car to the house dry-shod in any weather. The garage is adjoined by the boiler room with the large pellet stove and the laundry room; and should it ever be necessary in many years' time, the building can be converted into an apartment for care staff. The triangular area between the house and the garage is cleverly used by the lady of the house for her garden design skills – the view from the bathtub onto this courtyard-like paradise now delights the eye. REASON, FUNCTIONALITY & ENJOYMENT OF BEAUTY With an eye to old age, the Plate couple have planned their bungalow completely barrier-free with wide doors and a comfortably accessible shower. No tripping hazards prevent the transition from inside to outside and vice versa. Everything is easy to maintain and the window areas are easily accessible. Hospitality is also a top priority in "Chalet Cilgia": A beautiful guest room with an adjoining, large guest bathroom is always available. It is accessed through a door from the hallway, which is separated from the kitchen by a cleverly constructed room divider. From the kitchen side, this not quite ceiling-high room divider looks like a smooth wall with built-in shelves made of pine planks, but in fact it contains a spacious wardrobe, which is fitted with doors and a large mirror on the hallway side. From the hallway, another door leads to the necessary guest toilet, while the living area opens directly to those entering without a door. The view can wander unimpeded through the room and up to the ridge beam and beyond to the outside. One feels both inside and outside, protected and free. One door leads from the kitchen to the glazed passage to the garage, from the dining area to the study and at the other end of the house from the sofa corner to the bedroom. This is adjoined, as described, by the bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe, which also contains a large mirror. However, this does not only serve to check one's own appearance, but behind it is cleverly hidden the house technology. Everything is perfectly thought out in "Chalet Cilgia". The underfloor heating does a good job in cold and hot weather, as it can be used not only for heating but also for cooling. The former hotel manager is mainly responsible for the unusually beautiful decorations and furnishings in the house. She has chosen and equipped everything with great attention to detail. "Luckily, my husband and I have the same taste, which makes decisions easier," she beams. With so much agreement, only a beautiful house can result!ModernTropical south-facing slope with unique climateThe pictures are examples.Photo source partly Fullwood Wohnblockhaus.Text source partly Fullwood WohnblockhausWe have our model house in Wolfhalden.
