Sclamischot is a small fraction of the settlement of Strada in the Lower Engadine and politically belongs to the municipality of Valsot in the canton of Graubünden. The tranquil hamlet is located at about 1050 meters above sea level and stretches along the right bank of the Inn between Strada and the border town of Martina.
