ITINERARY: San Nazzaro-Monti di Gerra-Gerra Gambarogno
The charming village of S. Nazzaro can be reached by train. The itinerary moves away from the lakeshore to take the white-red-white marked path towards Monti di Vairano. It crosses the chestnut forest towards Sasso di Grumo, where the yoga path begins and the Hotel Sass da Grüm is located. It is worth taking a break: Sasso di Grumo is considered a very special energy place. The path continues uphill to Monti di Vairano, a large village with typical rustic houses. Here the path is a little flatter and, through the beech forest of the Cedullo Valley, we reach Monti di Gerra, another large hamlet with typical stone houses. The descent to Casenzano is quite steep and a large difference in altitude is covered in a short time. The crossing to Gerra is a nice way to conclude the excursion. It is worth stopping
