A masterpiece of elegance and exclusivity
Majestically situated above the shores of Lake Thun, Villa Paradiso presents itself as an architectural jewel without equal. This unique residence, nestled in a spacious parkland setting, combines historical charm with timeless modernity and redefines the concept of luxurious living.
Harmony between history and modernity
Built in 1912, Villa Paradiso unites the splendor of bygone eras with the amenities of the latest technology. In close collaboration with leading architects and the cantonal heritage authority, a renovation concept has been developed that preserves the unique character of the property while simultaneously offering forward-looking quality of life.
A place for visions
With a living area of around 500 square meters and a well-thought-out spatial concept, Villa Paradiso offers diverse usage possibilities. From the spacious entrance hall to representative salons and a separate guest apartment on the ground floor, each floor impresses with exquisite furnishings and understated elegance. A private garage for up to six vehicles, state-of-the-art building technology, and numerous retreats underscore the exclusivity of this property.
A life in consummate beauty
The extensive garden and a breathtaking view of the lake create an unparalleled atmosphere. Whether as a private refuge, a representative family home, or a prestigious investment, Villa Paradiso is a rare opportunity.
We would be happy to provide you with the spatial concept, including the planned expansion options and an overview of the renovation costs, upon request. Oberhofen am Thunersee, with its approximately 2500 inhabitants, is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Switzerland. Located about 15 minutes by car from Thun, the village is easily accessible by private car, bus, and boat. The center, with its castle, offers all the shops for daily needs.
In 1912, a Russian banker built the stately Chalet Paradiso in Oberhofen for his wife. The property, with its large grounds and magnificent view of Lake Thun and the Niesen, was built on an old vineyard slope in a sunny location. The plot is located about five hundred meters from the lakeshore and the boat landing, set back on the elevated south-facing slope and is mainly bordered by detached single-family houses. Away from the village center and the main traffic artery, the location ensures a very quiet residential area.
