The charming house is located on an elevated position above Faulensee. The railway line is close by, but you quickly get used to it. The advantage is that the house is unobstructed and you can enjoy a magnificent view over Lake Thun. For your physical well-being, you will find several restaurants nearby, and for daily shopping there is a Volg shop in the village. Further services are available in nearby Spiez.
Living Quality
Welcome to this charming old wooden house in the agricultural zone, which impresses with its unique flair and loving renovation. The rooms, some with low ceilings (on the upper floor it would be possible to open the ceiling), give the house a rustic charm and tell of its history. To the side, a large, high-roofed barn offers additional space for various needs. Two spacious cellars in the basement and a beautiful outdoor seating area complete the offer and invite you to enjoy the magnificent landscape. This house offers its inhabitants a comfortable home with modern comfort and nostalgic charm.
Sanitary facilities / Kitchen
The bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin is stylishly designed. The unique kitchen with Tibah stove and Stucco Veneziano surfaces speaks for itself.
Building quality / Standard
The original house was built in 1750 using traditional construction methods (not listed as a historical monument). Since 2016 the house has been renovated and extended. The building envelope with the new roof is in good condition and the building technology with the air/water heat pump is state-of-the-art.
