The Château de Wallenried was built around 1750 by Charles de Castella, lord of Wallenried. For nearly a century, Wallenried was one of the high places of French culture in the canton of Fribourg.
Today, we offer for sale a domain of 50,858 m², designated as a castle protection zone, which includes 4 buildings:
THE CASTLE
High-quality residential building with an architectural volume of 6,266 m³. Around 1823/24, this 2-story residential manor was expanded to the west with a large monumental living room in the 19th century style. An apartment in the castle is currently under a rental contract.
THE BARN
This imposing building, with a volume of 6,842 m³, takes an L-shape and is topped with a four-pitched roof. It includes a barn bridge to the east and houses a stable, a shed, and a barn. Its volume, greater than that of the castle, makes it a remarkable opportunity for a real estate project.
THE PAVILION
Individual house of 3.5 rooms, rented
THE ORANGERY
Modern 3-room duplex loft, adjoining the Church of Wallenried, completely rebuilt from scratch.
