Following extensive restoration in 2019, the MS J. J. Rousseau is technically state-of-the-art. Thanks to ongoing maintenance, the ship shines in stylish splendour. The charming passenger ship has been modernised with great attention to detail and combines nostalgic charm with modern comfort.

OPERATION AND USE

The MS J. J. Rousseau is currently licensed for commercial operation and has a Swiss federal concession (BAV concession) for passenger transport.

The ship is used, among other things, for public operation. During the summer months as a passenger ferry between Schmerikon, Rapperswil, Lachen and Altendorf with an existing contract with the participating municipalities. In addition, monthly public full moon trips are offered.

The ship can also be rented privately for weddings, corporate events, team events, birthdays, christenings and farewell rituals. The ship is suitable for group sizes of 10 to approx. 35 people.
