Restaurant << KRONE >> - Inn with a history
The Krone Hotel-Restaurant in the center of the village of Loèche-Ville was probably built in the first part of the 17th century.
According to tradition, Johann Wolfgang Goethe stayed at the Krone Hotel during his journey through the country in 1779. The Krone is said to have been completely rebuilt at the end of the 19th century and modernized again in the 20th century.
The current owner has carried out further renovations and investments totaling approximately CHF 850,000.00 over the past 15 years.
Among other things, the 5 rooms on the 2nd floor, the kitchen (floor/industrial oven), the dining room, the staircase, the buffet and the restaurant floor, the new windows, etc. have been renovated. In addition, a lot of new furniture/inventory has been purchased. The facade was renovated in 2021.
In addition to the private terrace, the upper part of the main square is used as an additional terrace (30 seats) from spring to autumn. The duration of use is limited here. An extension can be renegotiated.
The KRONE is a well-established restaurant in the community and therefore offers interested parties a very good basis for a successful continuation with an existing or new concept, without requiring major additional investments.
