The property is located in a small hamlet in the village of Utzigen, which belongs to the rural municipality of Vechigen.
The former schoolhouse dates from 1876 and was converted and renovated in 2014. This created an attractive loft apartment on the ground floor of the property. An apartment was also created on the upper and attic floors.
The bright and inviting apartment is equipped with a high-quality, open kitchen. The spacious bedroom has direct access to the bathroom, which has a bathtub, shower and double washbasin. Two additional rooms provide ample space.
A tiled floor is laid in the entrance area and corridor, and a noble concrete floor in the rest of the apartment. The refreshed wood and exposed beams give the apartment a cozy character. The modern furnishings include electric blinds in the living room, underfloor heating and a desalination plant. The building has its own well and a district heating connection.
The apartments are in shared ownership. Ancillary rooms such as the laundry room, workshop or bicycle room are therefore used communally. A separate cellar completes the offer.
There are already ideas for the redesign of further green spaces in the outdoor area.
