Architecture
The new buildings form a visual unit through their facade design: projecting concrete bands structure the facades and emphasize the storeys. Vertical structures visually stretch the elongated flat-roofed buildings upwards. The playful arrangement of the floor-to-ceiling windows achieves great spatial flexibility, allowing for free floor plan design. Single-storey extensions are attached to the main volumes on the garden side, which serve as balconies for the 1st floor. The attic is set back, creating spacious terrace areas.
Interior
The primary load-bearing structure consists of the facade and the central access core with stairs and lift. The secondary load-bearing structure consists of apartment partition walls in the extension of the stairwell. The internal room partitions of all 11 apartments are flexible and can be adapted to the needs of future buyers. The floor plans of the architect's proposal are generously designed: The floor plans are barrier-free adaptable, the common parts of the entire development, including the surroundings, are threshold-free and therefore barrier-free planned.
