We are looking for a new family member (age 27+!) to our shared apartment in Schaffhauserstrasse, close to Berninaplatz (Kreis11 border to Kreis 6). If you are looking for a comfy, calm and open environment, where you are more than welcome to share your ups-and-downs with your roommates, but can still take all the private space you need, this might be the place for you!

We are Kati and Giulia, and call a lovely 4-room ground floor flat in a listed historic building with a tiny balcony, great living room and nice neighbors our home. While Swiss born Kati (32) is a caring Serbian extrovert Züri-kian teaching teenagers about our world and its wonders and challenges (Geography teacher at a Gymnasium), Giulia (29) is an Italian who recently moved to Zurich. She has PhD in Photonics, now working as a researcher and has a passion for sports and music, as well as sharing quality time at home.
Among other things, we like to eat, chill and watch movies together and sometimes go out for concerts.
We speak English with each other but also both speak some French, while Giulia additionally speaks Italian and a little bit of German and Kati knows Serbian, Spanish and (Swiss) German.

Your room will be 14.5qm big with the evening sun (window direction NW). The room is facing Schaffhausertrasse (with trams, some noise), but has newly renovated windows so the noise is damped.

As mentioned above, we are looking for a person who is open, clean and empathetic (!). Discussing about whatever over beers, glasses of wine or tea should also not chase you off. We have a, what we call "open-door-approach", meaning that we appreciate knowing that there is somebody else in the apartment, with whom we can interact and vice versa. In other words, we live together not past each other – this is No Zweck-WG! We are also looking for someone understanding and caring (like being careful when others are sleeping/need rest).
